again, this was my james harris/ anne cooper, who died 1872 paulding co, ga, son of my arch and elizabeth carter harris, son of my charles and jane cannon harris.

my charles harris b ca 1776 was the son of my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers who died 1799 laurens co, sc.

again, there seems to have been connections re a lot of these same families into the same areas.

in 2001, louis b. wooding, per post 491 on the barksdale forum, posted info on the barksdales of chatsworth, murray co, ga. as this was an older post, i am going to post as a new post rather than a follow-up post.

i have noted, for example, someone interested in the marable family there in paulding co, ga. do they trace back to this marable family also of lunenburg co, va?

i am interested in robert wooding; col armistead watlington/ susannah coleman, whose daughter elizabeth watlington married major peter barksdale re my interest in my william harris, sr/ frances goode, daughter of my mackerness goode, sr, of lunenburg co, va. their son, my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers died 1799 laurens co, sc.

per the info, robert wooding married mary marable, daughter of william marable.

we are participating in the harris dna project and we are an exact match with edward harris, sr also of lunenburg/ charlotte co, va, whose harris family was also in laurens co, sc and murray co, ga.

i am going to post luneburg/ halifax co, va deeds re my william harris, sr/ frances goode and if you also have an interest in these individuals and families, i would appreciate hearing from you.
