Wife: Sarah, of 60 years. Heirs: John, Robert, James, Matthew, Curtis, William, Sarah Bomon,
Elizabeth Elsberry, Miran, Maria Jones, Ursula Jones, Sibby Martin. Son in law: Lindsey
Elsberry, exr. Codicil: 5/17/1852, p. 115 116, names dau., Elizabeth Elsberry.

JOSEPH MAHAFFEY, :9/12/1853, p. 121 122
Wife: Isobel, Lots 225 and 226, and 2 acres on the southside of No. 120 in the 18th Dist. Of
Paulding Co. To wife, negro woman, Beak, and boy, Bob, about 7, girl, Harriet, about 1 year.
Son: Adolphus, the north part of Lot 121 in the 18th Dist. Of Paulding Co. Dau: Sarah Ann, a
negro boy, George, about 5, and Sam, about 3. Son: Joseph, a negro boy, Bob, etc.

FRANCIS LITTLE,5/29/1865, 9/10/1856, p. 256 257
Son: Elijah Little now living inn State of Arkansas, $50, and an equal share with the rest of my
children in the remainder of my estate. Dau: Sarah Frances Luther and her children, from the
Contract of her husband, Isaac Luther, any equal share of my said estate with the rest of my
children, and appoint my son in law, Linster Grinage the sums for the sole support and exclusive
benefit of my said daughter, Sarah Frances Luther and her children, or her former husband, John
Bomar, who left her in a destitute condition four years ago. Grandch: William Rabon and
Missouri D. Malone, whose mother is dead, an equal portion of my said estate in right of their
mother. To: Francis M. Little, my son, the remainder of my children, William Little, Hiram
Little, Francis M. Little, Samuel Little and Mary Ann Pray, equally. Sons: Elijah Little of Walker
Co., Ga., and Francis M. Little of Carroll Co., Ga., my exrs.

STACY COOPER, of Union District, S. C., :11/28/1859, p. 387 388
Son: William Cooper $1 for his legacy. Dau: Hannah, $1 for her legacy. Son: Samuel Cooper,
$100 for his legacy. Dau: Margarett one portion legacy. Four sons: Jesse, Aaron, Moses and Eli
Cooper, all the land I now live on, being part of two tracts which I bought from Curtis Woods
and James White. Land in Spartanburg, S. C. Which I bought of John Wells to be sold (for
$1000), and the land I live on, I value at $3,000, for four of my sons and the other son is to have
$1000 made up to him out of the moveable property and the negroes. To wife, Elizabeth, a negro
woman called Rachel.

WILLIAM NEAL, 7/14/1856:8/24/1858, p. 389
Daus: Mary, Elizabeth, bed and clothing. My land and house to be sold, and proceeds to go to
my dau., Amanda Callance? And Harriet E. Isabella, when they reach age. Wits: William P.
Hendrick, William Harding, Samuel L. McClung, T. C. Nally.

OLIVER BRINETTE, of advanced age, 12/6/1852: , p. 429 431
Wife: Sarah with whom I have lived for 79 years, Lots of Land No. 833, 834, 835, 905, 906, 966,
and 967 in 3rd District and third section of originally Cherokee Co., then Cobb, and now
Paaulding Co., containing 40 acres each, and in all 280 acres, above 100 acres of which are
cleared, etc. Five daus: Milly Brinett, Manervey Walker, Eliza Lawrence, Martha Pruett and
Elizabeth Pickett. Sons: Anderson G. (Minor) and Oliver F. (Lots of land) Wit: L. R. Northcutt.

JAMES ROBERTS, 8/3/1860:10/1/1860, p. 630 640
Son: Wesley H. Roberts to collect debt for support of wife, Patty, during her life or widowhood,
upon said Wesley H. Roberts giving bond and security for $1,000. At wife's death or marriage, to
be divided among three grandch: $50 to Wesley H. Roberts when he becomes of age or marries,
$25 to Emily Elizabeth Baxter when she arrives at age or marries, and $25 to John Marion
Baxter when he arrives at age or marries. My five children: Polly Hitchcock, wife of John
Hitchcock, Fanny Cogburn, wife of Zachariah Cogburn, Susannah Starnes, wife of Thomas
Starnes, Wesley H. Roberts and Sarah Bone, wife of Matthew Bone. Negro woman, Anner of
dark complexion, about 16 years of age, to be sold at Dallas. Exr: Son, Wesley H. Roberts.

GEORGE MOON, 4/10/1859:8/13/1859, p. 445 446
Estate consisting of my negroes, Rachel, a woman, Peter, a man, Bob, a boy, and Jim, a boy, etc.
to daus: Ellen, Georgia Ann, Matilda and Martha Frances. Son: John Henry. Wife mentioned but
not named. Exr: James Stewart of Campbell Co. Wits: Washington Neal of Paulding Co., Randy
Cornett of Paulding Co., C. M. Marriett, of Campbell Co.

BENJAMIN CARRELL, :8/10/1863, p. 643 644
John M. Allgood and James H. Lyle, two of the subscribing witnesses to LWT of Benjamin
Carrell, decd, swear that they saw said testator sign, seal and delare his LWT. (LWT offered for
probabe, but not written in the book by the Clerk.)

ABSALOM R. ABLE, 2/8/1856:7/25/1859, p. 448 449
Wife: Pernasday., all property of which she was seized before our marriage. Ch: Amytis and Josh
L., $50 each to make them equal with their three brothers and sisters, viz: Ethelbert Anson and
Periander Able and Loretta Bryan who have each received that sum or value from me. Son: (by
second wife), Absalom Robert Gilder Able, $250, to equalize him in money with the sums which
my above said children have and will receive from their mother's estate considered. Two sons of
my decd son, Ethelbert Able, have their father's share equally between them. Dau: Amythis Able
to live with her sister, Loretta Bryan and have for support the interest of her portion of my estate.
My little son: A. R. G. Able to be raised by Dr. J. E. Ready. Exrs: Son in law: Robert D. Bryan,
and son, Jeremiah D. Able. John Wright testified that he was one of the subscribing witnesses to
the LWT of Absalom Able, together with james C. Impby and Henry B. Raborne. At same time,
Robert D. Bryan qualified as one of the Exrs therein named. 7/25/1809. South Carolina,
Edgefield Dist., W. F. Denison, Ordinary and Judge of the Court of Probate of the District and
State aforesaid and keeper of the public record of said county, do hereby certify that the
foregoing contains a correct copy of the LWT of Absalom R. Able, decd, file in my office.
