I did find a bit more on a second look. I haven't dealt with this line in a few years.
THE FIRST HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS OF PUMPKINVINE BAPTIST CHURCH, PAULDING COUNTY , GEORGIA transcribed by Marie Butler Voyles, printed USA in 1995.
This is the current address of the church:
Pumpkin Vine Baptist Church
2156 Buchanan Hwy
Dallas, GA 30157
770 445 1601.
(My notes: The Pumpkinvine Church was located near Dallas, Paulding County, Georgia. Some of the same families that were in the old New Hope Church in Carroll/Douglas county are represented here. The church was constituted April 30, 1843.)
Page 14 - April 19, 1856 - The church met in conference. 1st invited visiting brethren to seat with us. 2nd opened the doors of the church. 3rd read the minutes of the last conference. 4th called over the items of business. Granted letters of dismission to Brethren Craven Harris, and sister Amy Harris, Celia Harris, Penelope Harris, Sarah Harris, Elizabeth Harris, and Frances Burnes in order for them to help to constitute another church. W. A. Adair, CC, James Peek, Moderator.
My notes: Tradition has it that in 1856 a group of people met in a grove of white oak trees at the present site of the old cemetery of that name and organized the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. The early records of the church were destroyed by fire when the home of a former clerk burned.
