Joe, thank you for your very interesting reply to my post. It is interesting that your ancestors were neighbors on both sides of mine, and helpful to know that Fullers also lived nearby.

Elizabeth Maxwell in the 1870 census is not the same Elizabeth who was in the James Maxwell household in 1850, though. Elizabeth in the 1870 Pumpkinvine District census was Sarah Elizabeth(Tackett)Maxwell, my gggrandmother and widow of William Maxwell, who was also in the James Maxwell household in 1850 at the time the Elizabeth we are seeking information about was. Elizabeth in the 1870 census was in her father's household in Heard County, Georgia for the 1850 census.
