I know basically nothing about this branch on the family tree. My great grandmother was Roma Akins. Her parents were Elbert Franklin Akins and Mary Isabell Hogan. The story goes that My great grandparents, Roma Akins and Woodson Gravett/Gravitt were cousins. How distant I don't know. I did find a head stone at Mt. Moriah Cemetary in Dallas, GA of E.C. "Bud" Gravett and Alice Hogan Gravett. There are several of my ancestors burried in this cemetary but I have no clue who Alice and Bud are, and I don't have any information before my great great grandmother Mary Isabell Hogan Akins. If any of these names appear in your research I would be very anxious to see it. Thanks for your help.
