Thank you so much for this! Since receiving this, I have been to the Douglasville City Cemetery, finding the Tidwells, and to Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Paulding County, finding William James Tidwell who married Mary Ellen Clonts. The pastor there was very helpful, having loads of information on the Clonts family. Then on to the Paulding County Library where the librarian was also very helpful, and who also insisted I must be kin to Young Deer Tidwell (for whom there is a memorial outside the library). I don't know about that, it hasn't come up yet in research, but worth looking into. (Any info appreciated). I found a copy of the McCall-Tidwell book at the main branch Atlanta Library and at the Archives. My local library printed out a list of all public locations it is available if anyone is interested, let me know. Thanks again. Susan Tidwell
