Looking for any info: James Williams B: 1790 married: Catherine ?? They are listed in 1850 census in SC with children: Elizabeth C., 26. Barbara L., 21. Joseph M. 19. Harriet M., 16. Louisa, 13. Marcilla, 23, had married James Jumper in SC. There sons James E. B. Williams and Elisha Malachi Williams, my ancestor were living elsewhere. According to Sardis Baptist Church records, James Williams SR., in Swansea, Lexington Co., SC removed with potion of family to Georgia and died. He was dismissed from the Church Nov. 16, 1859. Also Brother James Williams applied for a letter of dismissal for sister Rachiel Williams. It was ordered that the clerk give the above letter and it be sent to the said Rachiel S. Williams's door, by order of the Church. Later in 1860 , Paulding Co. , GA census, James & Catherine ?? show up children: Elizabeth, Harriett, Louisa. Elisha Malachi and his family is also listed in the 1860 Paulding Co. census. I also find Elisha Malachi and some of his children in 1870 SC census, Lex. Co. I found this info: at our SC archives on film. I also looked at James Williams will. He died Dec. 4 1866. Elisha Malachi,s will, he died Jan. 24, 1897 Is there anybody in Paulding that might know anything about this Williams Family. It sure would help. Thanks, Barbara Williams Smithemail@example.com
