I received the book "The History of Oglethorpe County" today and cannot put it down! If you are interested in our county's history, this book is a must! It is well worth $50. It is even more special to me because I personally knew "Miss Florrie," the author. As a child and as a teenager I had tea and cake in her "sittin' room" with her many times.
