Do you agree that Hugh Piece is Jerimiah's father?

I have not seen your tree yet, but I am going to see about a William Monroe Pierce who married Mahala Ellen Hammons in Al 1839.
The Raleigh Hammonds/Hammons line is intermarried with the
McLain/McLane /Fannin line through John Hamilton Mclain
and more direct cousins who intermarried.
This will be an interesting hunt!
