Hi, nice to hear from you, so your grandmother was Nancy Pauline Tanner, I have her in my Pierce family file, My ancestor was Lewis Monroe Pierce, a grandson of Jeremiah and Nancy, My file on the Pierce family makes up almost 250 pages, I hope one day to get a book published on the Mobile County Pierce's. My family line makes up not only the Pierce's but Stringfellow, Allen, and Howell familes, there were alot of marriages between the Pierce's and these families as well as the Tanner's, Lewis Monroe 1st wife was Sarah Stringfellow, they had numerous children, their son James married his 2nd cousin Charity Allen, their 2 youngest children were twin boys Leslie "Less" Pierce, and my great grandfather Chesley "Chess" Pierce.
I live here in the Mobile area, in Theodore to be exact
Sincerely, Christopher Pierce
