I saw your query regarding a Martin in the Oglethorpe Abstracts of Wills. What Martin are you searching? I am also trying to locate a John Martin, his father was Henry Martin of Cumberland VA d. 1752. I understand that John Martin left some land to John Martin Dowdy in his 1777 Will.
I am a 4th gggrandson of Martin Dowdy of Oglethjorpe and I am trying to find his fathers Will Richard Dowdy.
