Richard Stephens, 1880 Census

In the 1880 census of Oglethorpe County, District 233, Pleasant Hill, there is listed a Richard Stephens, age 27, wife Mary (we think this was Mary Epps, daughter of Joshua Epps of Madison County,Georgia).

Children: James 6, Sarah 4, Mary and Ollie (F) 1.

Anyone know anything about this family? Can anyone look in the Oglethorpe County Marriage books to see if there are marriage records for any of the children. The children should have been of marriageable ages around 1900 or so.
I found a Richard Stephens in 1900, age 47, in Alabama but with a different wife, 5 more children, none of these at home, also 5 stepchildren. And apparently he had not been married long to the second wife. What we would like to find is when Mary died and where she might have been buried. Could have been in Oglethorpe County, could have been in Alabama (DeKalb County).
