Go to Then go to Georgia, then county look-up's. Look under Wilkes County, as I said Oglethorpe County was once Wilkes County in the earlier years. There you will find the Tax Digests you're looking for. There's a great book there called Early Records of Georgia that have many Echols listed. I do believe what I sent you were the page numbers that they are listed on. Anyway, check the site out, I think you'll like it.
