There is a record of a George Taylor marriage to Polly House in Oglethorpe County, GA on 09 Sep 1808. The George Taylor I am looking for was in Alabama by 1817 and is listed in the 1830 Monroe County, Alabama with 9 sons. I have been able to identify 7 of them.
Elijah Taylor 1809 GA
Sanford Taylor 1811 GA
Armstead Taylor 1815 GA
James A. Taylor 1816 GA
Edward or Edmond Taylor 1817 AL
Franklin Taylor 1820 AL
William Taylor 1823 AL
This is the only marriage in Georgia listed on the web that possibly fits as far as the date or concerned with the possible exception of one other in Franklin County with a George D. Taylor marriage to a Elizabeth Walton on 30 Mar 1809, but that would be a stretch. I anyone can help me, please advise.
