Bill: I do not remember if I e-mailed you about Miles Walton Goldsby's first marriage: Miles married MARY PERRY in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. 18 December, 1817. I have the marriage date from Oglethorpe Co., Ga. Marriage Records. She died 30 January, 1834 in Shelby Co., Tenn. I looked in the Oglethorpe Co., Ga. records for a MARY THORN BOYKIN and was unable to find the name. I have seen this name on several documents and I wonder where they got their information. I would come nearer thinking that the Mary Thorn Boykin name came before Richard Goldsby, because his full name is Richard Boykin Goldsby and his oldest son's name is Thornton Boykin Goldsby.
