Moses Day

Moses Day(b 1802-1804 VA)was the son of William Day (b 1780 NJ) and Mary Ann "Polly" Formby (b 1784 VA). William Day died about the same time that Moses was born. Then Mary Ann Formby was remarried in Oglethorpe County, GA in 1805 to William H. Moore. Mary Ann Formby's father, Nathan Formby, lived in Oglethorpe County at the time and it is possible that the Moses may have stayed to live with him when his mother, Mary Ann Formby Day Moore and William H. Moore moved to Troup County after it was purchased from the Creek Nation in 1825.

Can anyone with access to such records check to see if there exists a land grant of some kind that may have been due Moses at his father's death? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Lois
