I am having to repost all of my queries to the various forums because I have a new e-mail address. My ISP went out of business in September hence I had to find another one.
Seeking descendents of Ed (Ed L./Edgar/Edward) Toole m. December 13, 1880, in Clarke County, Georgia, to Louisa/Laura Chancey. Ed Toole, son of Manning Toole and Mary D. Greene, was listed with his parents on the 1880 census of Oconee County, Georgia. They are suppose to have reared a family in and around Watkinsville and Athens. He may have been farming in the area, probably as a sharecropper, around 1915-1917. He may have died around 1925. Family stories relate that either he or one of his sons was shot and killed in a store robbery about 1911. That there was a trial and the murderers/robbers only received a seven year sentence. The information does not match, but this is all the information I have on this branch of the family.
