“LOCAL LACONICS...

“–John Franklin, the one month and seventeen days old son fo Mr. and Mrs. H. H. HUMPHREYS, died at their residence, No. 68 River street, Bibb City, at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon after an illness of five days of hives and pneumonia. The funeral took place from the house at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon, the interment being at Clapp’s factory burying grounds [north of Columbus in Muscogee County, Georgia].”
