Desparately seeking descendants of Matthew Whitfield Kelley (b. 1851) and Maidie Farmer Kelley (b. 1856) who moved from Henry Co., Al to Muscogee Co., GA around 1890. Their children were Zeke (Ezekial) (b. 1881), John (b. 1886), Berta (b. 1888), Jeff (b. 1890), Elizabeth (Liza) (b. 1898), and Sarah (b. 1904). Maidie (sometimes written as Mary in census records) was my ggrandmother's sister. Need to find out about Maidie's descendants so I can complete our family history. Family stories indicate Mr. Kelley was the owner of the steamship M.W. Kelley. He was also a merchant. Jeff Kelley supposedly owned a car dealership in Columbus. Maidie Farmer Kelley was living in 1944 when she was listed as a survivor in my ggrandmother's obituary. Will be happy to share family information and pictures with descendants. Thanks in advance.
