Lyons Family (aka Lyans/Lyon)
Posted by: Robyn (ID *****4717) Date: September 13, 2003 at 18:20:48

Looking for information regarding the Lyons' family that appears to have resided in Muscogee County around the 1870's and perhaps earlier. Albertus R. Lyons married Melissa Jane Carlisle (maiden Davis) in 1872 (however on their marriage certificate the last name was spelled Lyan instead of Lyon). Other Lyons names would include Cinneanattus (Cantious) and Atlanta Lyons Williams who appear to be siblings of Albertus. Does anyone know who the parents are of these siblings? Haven't had a lot of luck so far in finding this information. Have also seen the names Hershal, Nathan, and Richard Lyons but unsure of relationship. Thanks for any assistance!
