The city of Columbus did have a City Directory in 1900. I looked at the directories last summer at the Bradley Library in Columbus. If you have not been there, they have a Genealogy section and very helpful staff. I don't know if any of that info is available on line.

The directory lists Head of household, (wife), occupation of head, address. Children are not listed. It also has ads, and gives some info on the street layout. The first directory was 1873 and I looked at them through 1921.
