The only information I have about Doolittle district is that it was an area used for recuiting for the military.
As to the question about William Thomas Bradley: He is my
fathers grandfather. His daughter Julia May (July in the 1910 census) was my grandmother. Please let me know where you found her maiden name. We have looked for some time in Ancestry.com with no luck. Julia May died in Dallas, Tx on Jan. 16, 1955. Do you have any information as to the names of the parents of William Thomas Bradley? I am just starting out on this and will very much appreciate any thing you can tell me. If I can be of any help please email at crlynmckinn@aol.com.
