Are you still researching Morrisons in Murray Co., GA?

I noticed your reference to a Virgil Howard's marriage in Murray Co., GA in 1905. I have found a Greenberry Morrison whose wife was Elizabeth [2 sons - Elisha 5, Ira 1] listed in 1880 with a sister-in-law named Susan Howard. With them was a Virgil C Howard age 5 and Laura M 1.

I believe that Greenberry was the father of the John who married Cora Harden in Murray Co., GA in 1903. In 1900 Greenberry and family are listed in Polk Co., TN with all of the listed as born in GA. Sons, Elisha 23 and John 18 are with them.

I found a death certificate which I believe is for John Morrison [husband of 1) Cora Harden, 2) Georgia Pratt Harden Blankenship]. The certificate gives John's parents as:
Father - G. B. Morrison; Mother - Calhoon; . Both are stated as born in GA.

John Morrison married in Murray Co., GA in 1903 and was listed there in 1910 with 3 children. Cora died in 1913 in Murray Co. By 1920 John had moved to Floyd Co., GA where he was listed as a widower with 5 children. By 1930 was in TX where he died January 15, and some of his children were listed with his 2nd wife who was listed as a widow.

Do you know anything about this Morrison family?
