Searching for descendants of Abel (m. Sarah Browning), Hillory (m. Mary S. Currie), and William M. Wright - Sons of James (Sam) Wright and Gilley Burch. Hillory's children were: William Everett, A. Duncan, George Washington, John Flournoy, Walter Thomas (or Talmadge), Austella, Katie, Delma, Mary Frances, Hattie Belle. Abel's children were:Emily J. , Mary A.E., Riley H., Gillian A. and James J. I don't have any information about William M. at all except that he was born abt. 1848 and was in the Alford Burch household in 1850 after the three brothers were orphaned, and one relative years ago said he had a son named Avry or Avery. Nothing else is known. Not sure but what there might have been other siblings. I know that there was an older Abel Wright (m Charlotte Cadwell) and a Lott Wright who were related to this family somehow. I have names of some of Hillory's children's children - but no dates or followup information. Most of these people were in the Montgomery/Wheeler area of Georgia - some buried at Glenwood. Hillory and Abel were both soldiers in the 61st Ga. Co. E Army of Northern Virginia - both were wounded and captured. Still searching for William's record if any. After the war Hillory was a farmer and a Baptist Minister. Abel was wounded severely and was mustered out of the Army in 1863 - and became a farmer when his health permitted. Any information welcomed. Will share all data for this and allied families associated: Burch, Currie, Callaway, Park. (Hillory was my great grandfather) Thanks in advance for any help.
