Solomon Hobbs land in Proctors' District

Solomon Hobbs was born 1803 in NC, then he got land in the Land lottery about 1827 after the whole Hobbs family moved to Georgia. According to the state archives, each person got l draw, then they could buy other's people's draws.
Soloman at one point had about 1500 acres. I know this land was up near the Butts Co. line, a little west of the center of the county.

How do I find out who owns this land now, and I would like to write them. Ther must have been a church or cemetery nearby. I can not find their graves. Is this land currently farmed, a forest, hilly, a pasture, a lake?
What does it look like now?????

Jeannine Hobbs Richards.
