In the 1870 Census, they and six of their children were living in the Russelville District (Mil Dist 599) of Monroe County. No other census report of them or the family has been discovered.
My father was the youngest of 10 or 12 children. Tama died with his birth. Tom survived until his death in Forsyth in 1920s. Nothing known at all of Tama (Tamary) and her family. Several Cheney families resided in Russelville after war but unable to establish a link. ALL info will be appreciated.
