I am not sure if this will help anyone. Graves found on Hunting property in Monroe County Ga.The graves are in a fence, this is exactly what is on them- Dolphin Floyd(1792-1859),Priscilla Floyd(1800-1859),Amanda Floyd(1823-1824),Susan C. Floyd(1825-1844),Andrew J Floyd(1831-1864)Confederate soldier, John J Floyd(1833-1853),Jabez M Floyd(1836-1841),Thomas M Floyd(1839-1864)Confederate soldier. On 1850 census Monroe County,Ga-Dolphin has another son and daughter living in home that is not buried in family cemetary -Archabal B. Floyd(born 1821)and Susan M Floyd(born 1845).I believe Dolphin and Priscilla also had a son William Floyd (born 1828).On the 1860 census Monroe County Ga William Floyd has a son named Jabez Floyd.I believe Jabez is named after William's brother Jabez M. Floyd(1836-1841). Also, there are 4 Thurmond graves in this same family cemetary.William H Thurmond,Sr.(10/15/1785-8/5/1873),Annie Thurmond- Nee Tanner-(1/10/1793-8/24/1860),William H Thurmond Jr(2/1/1823-8/28/1905),Amanda J. Thurmond-Nee Buff-(5/17/1829-10/28/1871).On 1860 Monroe County,Ga census ,living on either side of William Floyd is William Thurmond,Sr and family and William Thurmond Jr and family.
