John Haire and Eliza McGill Haire
Posted by: Donald Haywood Haire Date: September 03, 2000 at 14:31:00

I am researching the origins of John Haire and Eliza McGill Haire. They lived in Belleview Community, Miller Co. Occupation: Farmer. He died approx. 1887 in that area and is thought to be buried in the old Davis Cemetery down from Belleview Church. That cemetery is overgrown with brush and cannot be gone into. If anyone has any information on this couple please Email. They originated from North Carolina and came into Georgia by way of Houston Co.(Perry)Georgia. They are on the 1840 Census of that County. They were apparently in North Carolina before that. That is where my research is taking me. Thanks for any help. Their Child Washington Wade Haire was my Great Grandfather. his son Smithy Wade Haire was my Grandfather, his son Henry Wade Haire was my father.
