Evins Rabon Bell / Rayburn Evins
Hello,
Recently, while looking for the name of my ggreat uncle Evins Rabon Bell I came across a Rayburn Evins in the same book just one page over (pg 117).
Evins Rabon Bell is listed in the 1870 census book on pg. 116 with his brother George Bell, sister-in-law Mary (Moore) Bell, mother Milley Bell, and George's & Mary's children (family group 1179). It shows his birth year as 1849 and he was 21 at the time. In the column next to it was the letter (B) for Black.
When I scanned to the following page there was a Rayburn Evins Shown as a Farmhand,(W)for white, age 21 born 1849. Both men were listed as male and Mr. Evins is shown living with someone by the surname of Overstreet (family group 1184).
I hope someone can help clear this up for me. Thanks.
