Porter Family of Troup Co., GA

Seek any info on the James Porter family of Antioch, Troup Co., GA. Fist record is 1850 census showing James, Tabitha, David, James, John and Elisha Porter. On the 1860 census widow Tabitha Porter has married Davis McJunkin and son Elisha is living with them. Was told that several pages of the 1860 census was either destroyed or lost (of course it would be where the 3 Porter boys lived). David, James and John Porter all joined the Civil War July 9, 1861 at Antioch, GA. They joined Capt. Boykin's group. When they were mustered in several weeks later at Richmond, VA David was mustered in, James was there but sick and there is no record of John at all. Believe he probably died on the way of sickness. He was only 17. Would like to find out where he is buried. Sent for his Civil War papers and there is a different John Porter's info in his file. All I know is that the family never saw John Porter again. Also both David and James died and are buried in Confederate Cemeteries in VA. Thanks for any help.
