My mother's maiden name is HARDIN. We live in North Alabama. I am researching my tree also and don't know much about the HARDIN line. I only go back to my great grandfather GEORGE WASHINGTON HARDIN, b. 21 Feb 1863 d. 27 Jul 1938. He was married to MALISSA JANE JONES on 1 Feb 1874, she is the daughter of Druid David Richard Alexander JONES.

CHILDREN OF GEORGE WASHINGTON HARDIN & MALISSA JANE JONES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Sarah Elizabeth HARDIN b. 16 Nov 1874
2. Ambrous Arthur HARDIN b. 23 Jan 1877
3. Robert Callus HARDIN b. 11 Jan 1879
4. Ella Magdalene HARDIN b. 3 Mar 1881
5. William Pleasant HARDIN b. 26 Jul 1883 (My grandfather). He married Beulah Beatrice SUGGS, daughter of Therrell Columbus SUGGS and Hesta Loretta Jane COMPTON.

CHILDREN OF WILLIAM PLEASANT HARDIN & BEULAH BEATRICE SUGGS:

1. James Travis HARDIN b.
2. Jerome HARDIN b.
3. Reba Loretta HARDIN b. Jan 31 1920 (My mother)
Married to GEORGE LOIAL PONDER b. 19 Mar 1916
4. Beatrice HARDIN b. Jan 1924
