Margaret is listed as Margaret "Maggie" Floyd.
In the 1850 census her mother Sarah/Sally Floyd, b. 1818 and older sister Milly Ann Floyd b. 1835 and Margaret are living with Sarah's mother, Milly Carpenter, in Lincoln NC.
In 1834 a Robert Floyd married a Sarah Carpenter on Feb 28 1834 in Lincoln, NC. Robert apparently died in 1845.
In 1860 Margaret Floyd is still with her mother Sarah Carpenter in Gaston, NC. It appears Sarah married a Joseph Carpenter, as he is in the same household, with little Carpenter children.
