The Bowers children are hers. I believe the two eldest Marlow children are her second husband's from a previous marriage. The youngest Marlow children are hers. She did, in fact, marry third, Robert Bell, and had no known children by that marriage. My family has her maiden name as Giles, but I suspect it may have been Gill. The Jackson Gill living next to her in Marion County witnessed the will of the husband of Rebecca's second daughter, Sarah Jane Bowers, who married Dr. James M. Tullis of Marion Co. Rebecca had to have married ufn Marlow between 1837-46, but most likely after 1840. Census records indicate her four youngest Bowers children were born in Georgia between 1831-1838. Her two eldest Bowers children were born in SC -- the first in 1828 in Edgefield Co, and the second in 1830. Thanks. Rodney Bowers
