My Great Grandmother was named Nellie Luella Anderson. I have her parents listed as a George Shakespear Anderson and Molly or Mollie Barnhill!
I am currently researching all my family and Great Grandma is one of the few I am looking for every detail.
My great Grandpa Wylie Q. Adams and his wife Nellie Luella Anderson had children named Calvin Coolidge Adams, Oleta Adams(sp?), Lucille adams, Opal J. Adams (married Luther B. Woodard), and my grandpa Alvin Jimmie Adams (m. Carolyn Louise Marrs).
In my records george s. Anderson and mollie Barnhill were from Mina polk Arkansas. If any of this sounds like a close match to you then I would love to compare notes on family. Lucille is one of the family members I have no information on. My Wylie and Nellie Adams lived in Lumpkin county Georgia, Texas?, and settled in McAlester Pittsburg Oklahoma.

In my research from my family i have found the resting places of several of the family including:

Wylie Q. Adams and Nellie Luella Anderson
Buried along with their Daughter Opal J Adams Woodard.

Rosa Lee Parrish (Rose Lee Adams, Roselee/Roselie, *rosalie-this one was listed on the earliest record I could find for her) and husband Joseph Robert (Joe Bob) Adams.
I have also found the resting place of Rosa Lee's Mother Amanda Jane West Parrish.

I have the resting place of the Parents of James M.(Monroe or Madison) Adams (Wife was Sarah S. Donaldson)
His parents were David Adams and Mary Simmons Adams. Both are Buried in Lumpkin County Georgia along with their Daughter Hariet Adams (Gregory) and at least 1 infant child.
*****
There is a story here I am certain, but it yet remains a mystery to me. Mary Simmons Adams, Hariet Adams Gregory, and at least 1 infant Gregory child all died on the same day (February 8 1904) was this a Tragedy? an accident? Sickness? Can anyone tell me more? or uncover this family mystery?*****

Still Seeking information on several key family members:
***The family of my Grandfather Alvin Jimmie Adams 1917-1996 and his first wife Edith?- Charles Calvin Adams, Steve Adams, and Michael Lee Adams of Oklahoma His Second wife was Carolyn Louise Marrs Their children are: Theodore George Adams, Ramona Adams, Alvin Jimmie JR, Louis Wylie, Jonothan Louis, and My mother Maria Christina Adams.***

David Adams son James Monroe or Madison Adams b. between 1817-1828 and wife Sarah S. Donaldson married in Georgia May 09, 1849
James M. Adams seems to have been a very common name for this time period and the records are all over the chart depending on which middle name you give him. their children were Mary Ann, James M. JR, Joseph Robert or Joe Bob, Roarke Roe, Absalom, and John P.

The parents of David Adams b.1802 Pendleton or Pickens South Carolina-July 15 1880 Dahlonega, or Shoal Creek Lumpkin Georgia.
I have this information on David's Parents: listed as Henry Adams and Mrs. Hannah Adams No other info on Hannah,
Henry was born about 1772 in North Carolina or Virginia.
His Brothers are James C. Adams who married Anne Nancy Reid, John Adams JR(III?) who married Rachel Reid, Stephen D. Adams who married Patience bruce. and David Adams b. 1774. there were also 2 unlisted sisters of Henry.
in 1791 Henry is listed as marrying mrs. Hannah Adams in North Carolina. John adams SR. moved the family including the brothers to Anderson county South Carolina.
During the 1800's Georgia land giveaway at least Henry and his descendants including David and his son James m., James and their families moved to Georgia in what is Habersham, White, and Lumpkin counties.

John Adams*** This is the missing key in my tree
My john adams was born about 1740 in North Carolina or Virginia married perhaps more than once between 1758 and 1771?- I have found several different spouses and families that while similar don't quite fit with my info as is.
The first and strongest match is Susannah Wood or Susan - born 1735 Brunswick, Virginia died about 1771.
the second is Mary Montgomery. The children seemed to fit but dates and a few names seemed off
Sarah Doolittle or Sarah Pigg were 2 other names that turned up but none were certain matches.
Anyone who has any family info to share or trade please let me know MagiusWyeth@MSN.Com
