The Zachariah Taylor Plair you give the details for was my grandfather. Theo Plair, age 5 in 1910, was my father.

William Player was living in Georgia in 1870, Wilcox, Militia District 433. In the 1850 census he is listed in Houston, Georgia. In 1860 in District 14, Georgia. His wife's name was Jane. They had a son, Zachariah Taylor, born in 1847 or 1848, who is the most likely candidate for my great-gradfather. On his WWI draft registration, and the census, my grandfather said he was born in Georgia in 1874.
