Dear Helen, I was very excited when I read your message, especially since three of Susan Caroline's siblings are also listed fairly close by on the 1880 Census. But when I went to familysearch.org, I found James P with his wife Catherene Hillhouse. I individually checked each of the children listed in the 1880 census on familysearch.org and each of them lists their parents as James Proctor and Catherene Millhouse.

Thank you so very much for your time and efforts. I am unable to find Susan Caroline with a spouse on familysearch although I do find her with her parents James Redding Bass and Elizabeth Lay.
