I am just beginning to research my father's ancestry. I know my great grandfather was named Henry Gainey and was born 1871-1872 in either georgia, sc or florida. He was married 3 times I have heard, one wife was Serena Raulerson, one named Mary (also may have been a Raulerson).
He lived most of his life around McClenny Florida. then names of his children I am sure of are Minnie, Stanley (my grandfather), Odus, Raford, Lucius, Alvie, John W, Wilbert, Gertie, Ruby and Victoria.
If you know anything that might help me trace my heritage farther back in this line it would be greatly appreciated.
