John Ogletree, Sr. Wilkes County, GA

I am attempting to find out if John Ogletree, Sr. of Wilkes
county in GA. actually assisted in the revolutionary effort
in the battle of Kettle Creek. I know that his son, William,
actually was in the U.S. revolutionary war effort but I can
not find out about his father. If anyone has any information
about this project I would appreciate it.
