I am still seeking information on Henry and Mariah Jones who lived in Stewart Co., GA, in the Florence, Lumpkin and Richland areas between 1850 and 1880, possibly before and after those years also. They had at least 11 children, according to the census in those years, including Solomon, born about 1844, who I am fairly certain is my great-great-grandfather Solomon Jones. He married Patience Williams and they lived in Stewart County in 1880. I believe Patience was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Williams of Stewart Co. Solomon and Patience were married in Stewart County in 1869. They were the parents of my grandfather James Cornelius Jones who married Nannie Lou Jenkins in Terrell Co., GA.
I am having a very difficult time finding information on these families and would appreciate any help.
