i'm looking, for a friend. her grandfather was Ty Cobb Blair, b. in Chickamauga (Walker Co.) Georgia in 1915. she wants to know more about him, his line. his parents, Ernest and Hazel, moved with him to Chattanooga, Tennessee when Ty was young. any links, would be great!! she thinks one of Ty's parents was 1/4 cherokee and one was 1/4 cree- something... any ideas? email is great. araorun1127@yahoo.com
also, i'm looking for info my on my family, the Hearns. my great-great-grandpa was Christopher Columbus Hearn, married around 1855 i think in Hearnville, Putnam Co., Georgia. i would love to know if he's from the William Hearne from England of Somerset Co., MD, or if he's indeed from a Hearn who came from Ireland directly as my dad believes. perhaps Samuel? please let me know about this also, if you know!
