For some time I have been trying to contact any family members of Clifford Burke who died in Albany, Georgia on March 23, 1973 and have had "no" luck. perhaps someone who knew him can contact me.
Cliff Burke was my first cousin. his father John Burke was my mothers brother and is buried here in my home town of Waterbury, Connecticut.
the last time I saw Cliff Burke was during WW11 while he was in the Army and he came to his fathers funeral in July, 1944.
I have much family history about the Burke family and would like to share it with Cliff's family if they are interested.
Cliff Burke was born in Buffalo, New York on February 6, 1917. His mother Pearl and father John divorced in the mid 1930's. His father lived with us until he died in 1944.
I hope to hear from someone who may know any family members.
