I am looking for any information on Dr. (J.J., as the headstone reads) James J. Thomas and his wife Susan G. (I think maiden name was Miller)of Summerville Georgia. I seen a few things on the 1870 and 1880 census and other than that my information is very limited. I have the names of some of the children, which were Della, James Forest, Adda, Mattie (Martha), Maggie, Charley, Eulah, Zoe, and George. They were from Chattooga County Georgia. I have been to the Lyerly Cemetery but the only graves I could find were for the Dr. and his wife, and one son, named Charley. All three are buried next to one another. If you have any information that might be more than I have above, I would love to hear from you. I know the Dr. was born in 1839 and died in 1899, and his wife Susan G. Thomas was born in 1840 and died in 1905.
