John Cooper & Elizabeth Wilson VA>GA

Searching for information on John Cooper, probably son of Thomas Cooper, Sr. John b. 1742 in Virginia, married Elizabeth Wilson 1778 in Henry County, VA, came to Wilkes County, Georgia in 1780's. I have a copy of "The Family Record of John Cooper 1778-1909" by Sarah Edna Cooper Holtzclaw, which gives extensive line of John and Elizabeth's son John Wilson Cooper, but I'm especially interested in more info on John W.'s brothers, Augustin and Gideon Cooper

According to DNA tests, my John McCutchie Cooper (1816-1852) is related to this family, and I'd like to find out how.
