Jonathan was born in 1742 in North Carolina and died 12-12-1814 and is buried in St. Helena Parish, Greensburg, La. I am trying to find out about some plantations he had. I was told that at the time of his last marriage, ( he married 2nd Elizabeth Cox )that he had two plantation in Ga. One he sold later to John Callahan (sp?)of Natchex, Ms. and the other is sold later to Stephen Johnson of Ga. Dempsey Kemp (his son) received a plantation in S.C. and Rebecca (his daughter ) received a plantation in S.C. Isaac a plantation and the other children received personal property. Has anyone any information on this. Thanks in advance for any help. Dianne
