Joseph Ford Pelote married Fitzgerald Ross Boykin of Charleston, SC and they moved to GA. They had the following children:
1) Samuel Boykin Pelote, b. 1858, GA, m. Serena Chesnut Holt on November 22, 1886 at St. Johns Churst, Savannah, GA.
2) Thomas Edward Pelote, b. 1862, SC.
3) Joseph Ford Pelote, b. 1867, GA
4) Gerald May Pelote, b. 1870, GA.
His wife, Fitzgerald R. Pelote was listed in the 1880 census for Chatham Co. GA, Savannah and at that time she was a listed as a widow. Is anyone familiar with this family? Would like to correspond with any descendants of Joseph Ford Pelote and Fitzgerald Ross Boykin. Will be glad to share any family information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
