Samuel Boykin Pelote was the son of Joseph Ford Pelote and Fitzgerald Ross Boykin, daughter of Samuel Boykin and Fitzgerald Glover Ross. He married Serena Chesnut Holt in Dallas Co. AL on November 22, 1886. They moved to Savannah, GA. They had three daughters, Lillie, Josephine and Ruth. Would like to correspond with any descendants of Samuel Boykin Pelote and Serena Chesnut Holt. Will be glad to share what family information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
