Stokes from N.C. & Georgia

I'm trying to connect some of my Stokes line from Georgia to the bunch in N.C. My g.g.grandfather John Melton Stokes was from Terrell Co., Ga. His wafe was Elizabeth Hasty. John M. Stokes' father was Samuel, b. 1820. It's pretty sketchy beyond that. Some records show this Samuel was b. in Ga. and his wife was Susan ? They married around 1847.
