Bernice, Thank you! It was such good news to receive your message about my great grandfather, Jefferson David Moye. This will help me a great deal. I also realize that my grandfather whom I have always known as James Carswell Moye may in fact be James Caswell Moye. He was known as Cosie which I thought was spelled Cozzie. I also have a picture and write up of the 50th wedding celebration of Eva Irene nee Moye to B.F. Haygood on January 28, 1947. I think this may be the Ella listed as the oldest daughter. The note on it states that Eva Irene was the eldest sister of Wilma Moye( given to me by Wilma's granddaughter Wilmadena Miles). The information that Jefferson David's father was born in Alabama is also news. You've really been a great help.
