Georgia Divorces 1814

The Legislature passed a law Nov. 22, 1814 confirming two divorces, one in Richmond Co. (O'Reily) and one in Columbia Co. (Rachel and Robert Jones). The Act contained separate recitals as to the two divorces. In both cases, a special jury in the Superior Court of that county found reason to allow the divorce. In both cases, the plaintiff wife then petitioned the Legislature to grant the divorce. In the Columbia Co. Jones divorce she made "frequent petitions." Does anyone have any information about how these divorces worked? Was the Act of the Legislature a requirement? Did the special jury in the Superior Courts act as a fact finder for the Legislature? Does anyone know if there are county records of the sepcial juries? Does the GA Archives have legislative records which would have the actual petitions? What I have is a copy of the ACt itself from the bound books of Acts of the Legislature in the Archives?

Finally by any chance does anyone have any information on Robert and Rachel Jones? Did they have children? Where did they go after the divorce in 1814, etc.?
