Flemings-Oglethorpe Co.

I am looking for information about the Fleming family of Oglethorpe County.
The family was originally from North Carolina and moved to Blairsville/Union County
sometime in the mid 1800s. In the early 1900s they moved to
Oglethorpe County. Are there still Flemings in Union County?
Where in North Carolina did they come from? I'd greatly appreciate any information.
